Crispy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Here in the tri-state area, we’re approaching the end of summer; I like fall but I love summer more :). So while we still have these last days of summer, I thought I’d feature these Crispy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps. This is such a wonderful and light recipe that was provided by Chef Tyler Florence and showcased on the website Kitchen Daily. As you all know, I love watching Tyler Florence on the Food Network and this recipe is definitely easy and delicious. This is great for an afternoon snack, as an appetizer, or at a BBQ. If you like the ingredient list below, click on the link above for the recipe. Enjoy :).

    • Hey Kristy :). I know.. me too ;). I had a feeling you would like these and I think the kids might like them as well. I hope you and the family enjoy your weekend too. I have a hurricane coming here so I’m just prepping to keep safe.

  1. Oh and thank your mom for her comments yesterday…I’m sure it will get easier sending Miss A off to school (someday – ha!). Miss the little gal though – yet I’m so proud of her at the same time. ;)

    • Hey Kristy :). I called my mom tel inform her of what you wrote and she said you’re welcome. My mother really adores your blog.. she looks when I’m not around lol. She did say it would get easier until teenage years lol. I hope you and the family enjoyed the day

  2. Oh, these looks so simple and delicious and I just love the use of lettuce over traditional bread – what a great change-up. Mango and shrimp is a dynamite combination. Yum!

    • Hey Kelly :). Me too.. I am not a huge bread eater.. so using the lettuce is definitely right up my alley. And Mango and shrimp just puts a smile on my face. I hope you and the family enjoy your weekend

    • Hey Geni :). This is such a great, light meal. And you definitely have to let me know how you liked it when you make it. I really think you will enjoy this.. I did :). I hope you enjoy your weekend

  3. I could just eat a few of those my friend, they look absolutely scrumptious, do we squeeze a little lemon juice over that and then of course it is time to pour the wine and then… :) lol. Those hungry pains are forming again :) lol
    Androgoth Xx

    • Hey Androgoth :). I think this would go great with wine.. just don’t ask me which because I don’t drink lol. But I’m sure you will find one. I’m glad you liked this and I apologize for making you hungry yet again lol. I hope you enjoy your weekend

  4. Oh! What a fantastic, fun starter for an end of Summer bbq, and a start of Spring one for me. We’ve had some lovely Spring weather the last couple of days, I’m sorry that means the start of fall for you. We change with the seasons,(don’t we, I know I do!) and a European Autumn I love! Have a great weekend!

    • Hey Yvette :). I totally agree.. this is a great starter or a great snack. It’s just delicious. Yeah.. fall is coming for us.. but I think you deserve to enjoy summer like I did ;). I know your blog will be graced with such wonderful colors.. I can’t wait. And we sure do change the season ;). I hope you enjoy your weekend.

  5. Agree with Kelly – great alternative to traditional bread, although I wonder if I’d feel as satisfied? Would make a great starter maybe! Really beautiful too!

    • Hey Charles :). I am not a huge bread eater, as you know, so I love this recipe. It’s light and fun. And if you eat enough of anything, you’ll be satisfied lol. I hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

    • Hey Raymund :). I agree completely. I love these. If you try them.. you definitely have to let me know. I know you will enjoy it and put your own spin on it. I hope you and the family are enjoying the weekend.
