Illustrative Glamor

I have a secret to tell you.. come closer.. ‘I wish I could draw‘. Yes, that’s my secret. I can only recall me drawing a dog, free-handed from a coloring book, that came out wonderful; after that my talented hand went away (laughs). But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the talent of others. Laura Laine is a talented Helsinki based illustrator that draws beautiful women while showcasing their love for incredible style. And with clients like The New York Times magazine, Elle, and H&M (to name a few), she’s definitely an illustrator I will keep my eye on. Click the link above for more. Enjoy :)

    Hey Kay!

Some fantastic illustrations, even though the legs are way too skinny for my liking…lol

Ok, so the bottom right picture, the curly hair remind me of the backdrop of Al Pacino’s residence in the film “The Devil’s Advocate” – only a strange mind like mine would spot that!

    Have a nice day.
    D.

    • #16 by Kay aka Babygirl on December 1, 2011 - 1:09 AM

Hey D :) . LOL.. You’re right.. only you would spot that out lol. And it’s just an illustration so the size of the legs are fine with me lol. I hope you enjoyed your day today

Wow, that’s quite some talent. I’d love to be able to draw. I find the idea of sitting in a park sketching away or painting so… idyllic. My pictures are usually scratchy piles of junk :(

    • #30 by Kay aka Babygirl on December 3, 2011 - 2:33 AM

Hey Charles :) . I wish i could sit in a park and sketch.. why? Well art always intrigues me. My stick figures are just horrible lol. And don’t call your pictures junk.. I’m sure they’re wonderful ;) . I hope you enjoyed your weekend
