Steak w/Arugula, Lemon & Parmesan

Some people don’t like to eat salad, but I enjoy it immensely. I know I’m eating healthier and it’s a wonderful filling meal. So to continue on with the ‘Salads‘ theme, I came across this Steak with Arugula, Lemon and Parmesan recipe from Food52(I love this site). I’m not sure if people will classify this as a salad, but I do. I love the baby arugula, but I can also see myself eating this with spinach leaves as well. I know I’m not a huge steak fan, but I’d eat this in a heart beat. View the ingredient list below and click the link for the recipe. Happy Friday!
*NOTE: I won’t be able to answer every comment, like I normally do, due to me having to unexpectedly travel. I will, however, take the time out to view all of your wonderful blogs instead (smiles). Enjoy your weekend, & I hope to be back responding to you next week.. (smiles)

    • Hi Sweet Posy Dreams :). I know.. and I’m not a huge steak fan but this salad is truly appetizing to me :). Thank you for visiting my blog, come back and rant with us anytime. I hope you’re having a good day

  1. Happy Friday my friend! I love the simplicity of the ingredients but more amazingly how these ingredients balance each other like a harmony is fascinating. Maybe I’m just obsessed with food…

  2. Excellent dinner, Kay! Now, don’t you worry about not being a steak fan. Just pass yours over to me and I’ll see about getting you a little extra of that green, leafy stuff. Safe travels! :)

  3. This looks gorgeous and in my book it counts as a salad. This is my first visit to your blog, so I spent some time browsing through your earlier posts. I’m so glad I did that. You’ve created a great place to visit and I really enjoyed the time I spent here. I’ll definitely be back. I hope you have a great weekend. Blessings…Mary

    • Hi Mary :). I’m so happy you came to visit me here :). And I;m so happy you enjoyed my earlier post. I really love to share my love for art here and I must say.. I enjoyed your space as well :). Thank you for visiting my blog, come back and rant with us anytime. I hope you’re having a good day

  4. I love steak and I love salads, but not a big fan of steak salads. However, last summer discovered that baby arugula is a perfect match for beefy flavors with its peppery bite, so this salad would be wonderful!

    • Hi Judy :). I’m not either. Sometimes the steak can be too runny and make the salad leaves too soggy. But this one really allows the steak to set and the crunch is still in there within tthe salad leaves. Gotta love that ;). Thank you for visiting my blog, come back and rant with us anytime. I hope you’re having a good day

  5. Yummy, I love arugula, so I am always looking for a good way to use it. I think that I would use tri-tip rather than New York stake strips for this though. But I will try it as the recipe suggest and then change it if needed. Thank you as always and I hope that your travels go well!

  6. Just got back from our monthly trek to a farm in Pa where we buy all our meats. Bought plenty of different steaks. I’m going to try this recipe on every one of them.

  7. Wow.. clearly I am behind in my blog reading.. it’s no longer Friday night! However, I think this would be an excellent salad to try this week.. as it’s now Sunday night:) I hope your weekend was awesome!! xoxo Smidge

  9. You know this one looks a tad rare to me, and I prefer mine well done, nooooo not cremated but done enough to stop all the blood running out, I mean if I want blood then I will bite on a nice neck or ten ;) lol
