A Modern Day.. in Spain

Spain has always been a place I wanted to visit. And this home, definitely makes me want to visit Spain even more.. well, after I visit Paris of course (smiles). The amazing Barcelona-based studio DNA Barcelona Architects has designed this beautiful oasis entitled Santa Cristina. This 5,890 sq ft residence is stunning. From the outdoor terrace, the serene orange kitchen, the furnishings, and the mountaintop view.. this is one of the most amazing homes in Spain I’ve ever seen. Click the link above to view more. Enjoy

I love Spain. The cakes there are divine. Brilliant pics, as usual. :-)

A little too modern for me. But still gorgeous and I do love the kitchen! When I think of Spain I think of rich colors and rustic for some reason. :)

This house is absolutely gorgeous! And the view from the back patio really is incredible! My favorite is the living area then the kitchen. :) Of course, the kitchen!

DNA does such beautiful work. Really pretty stonework. And you can’t beat the view, right?

I love the house but it isn’t what I think of when picturing a home near the mountains in Spain.

Hrm, I dunno – it’s a bit modern and boxy – I’m more into rustic charm myself. The bathroom is nice… you can’t really tell from that room how modern the house looks outside

It’s not my favorite place you’ve shown us but I certainly wouldn’t object to staying there. :)

My brain always feels like it’s breathing fresh, pure air when I come here.. all the clean lines and beautiful architecture! I wish we could actually travel together and see it in person, but this virtual travel is the next best thing! Thanks Kay!

The landscape screams Spain but the chair screams Ireland.

You know I’m not usually a fan of modern decor, but you’re right. This is serene! I’d like to visit Spain someday too. :)

Simly breath-taking…..that embedded spa is mouth-watering…I am mentally there already! A very high quality pad.

When (and not if) you visit Spain, visit Maspalomas Sand Dunes in Gran Canaria, the sand is very soft and silky.

    Have a nice weekend.

Outstanding … but given the house, the spa/hot tub seems a little small. ;)

Why is that I always go for the bath tub? It’s lovely.

The view of that rocky hill alone is fantastic. I also dig the wood on the deck floor.
