Yes, today’s Food Friday is all about “Grown-Up Cocktails” (so if you wanted to see a food recipe, come back next week *laughs*). And I absolutely love this Blackberry Lemonade recipe from the amazing blog, with the cute name, The Pastry Affair. This particular drink doesn’t have any alcohol in the ingredients (which is perfect for me), but I’m sure you can pair these flavors with some wonderful alcoholic choices.. so tell me some of your choices below. View the ingredient list below and click the link for the recipe. Happy Friday

Oh, this also looks great. My choice would be the white spirits, a little drop of gin, or a dash of vodka…or maybe even a decadence of Grand Marnier….that swizzle stick is stirring!LOL! x

Looks refreshing! Never had it with blackberry…definitely a nice twist from the usual raspberry.

Refreshing and beautiful and a splash of vodka would not go bad here…
#21 by jvlivs on May 13, 2012 - 11:17 AM
That sounds delicious! I’d ad just a touch of vodka, or some champagne (or even both). My ex-girlfriend is allergic to blackberries, so that’s even better for me (LOL)!
