If I could throw a party this weekend, I would send out invitations and call it the “Goodbye to Summer” celebration. Nothing too fancy, just a soiree with good mini foods, dessert bar, great outdoor atmosphere, and an amazing time. So find a babysitter and stop by. What would your end of the summer party look like?

No! Not yet. I’ll be wearing shorts and sandals into November, in a last ditch effort to forestall Fall and Winter. My Goodbye Summer party would take place on Thanksgiving weekend.

OMG I want to have the outdoor dining like that! Your collection of these photograph definitely miss summer (although it wasn’t this pretty haha). If kids schools haven’t started yet I wanted to still stay in summer mode, but reality is…. back to school already… thanks for the fun and pretty photos!

Well, we had ours last night…it was not near as elegant as any of these. It looked like juice boxes littered all over the lawn and glow sticks dancing around in the dark. (And lots of happy parents chilling out at the end of a long summer!)
