Weekly + Labor Love

Well… it’s official! I can’t escape from Fall like I thought I could (smiles). I guess I will just have to deal with Labor Day, dust off my old but cute sweaters, and say goodbye to my summer clothes. But just because fall is approaching, doesn’t mean I can’t drool over these summer recipes (and wish I could cook those recipes in the kitchen above.. *smiles*).

I would seriously pull out the grill in the winter time just to make this…

But before I freeze to death (laughs), I think I will go ahead and make this recipe this weekend.

And I will definitely find time to make these grilled lamb chops, cooked by an amazing 14 y/o

*Now here are a few of my favorite summer post
I visit this Africa, all the time, in my dreams (smiles)

And usually, I’m enjoying this drink while daydreaming

And I definitely can’t daydream without thinking of Porn for Pregnant Ladies (laughs)

Happy Labor Day everyone!

Thanks, Kay, for the honor. I hope you enjoy Mom’s dish as much as we all do. Have a great holiday weekend!

Cute sweaters make the change of season bearable … though I am partial to Autumn, it is still hard to say goodbye to summer. Thanks for featuring my BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches, you are so kind. Lot’s of folks like to cook Salmon on cedar planks, but this my favorite way to use them. :)

We’re stil braving the summer heat here in Tokyo so I haven’t caught up to the “fall” feeling that other bloggers have been raving (or not so raving) about! I’ll be sad when I have to hide our grill for the winter, but on the other hand, I miss using my oven without having to blast the A/C!

Um hi, I don’t have much time or opposable thumbs, but it’s Coltrane here and I would like to say a few things before Greg gets back and finds me on the computer. When grilling remember to put the meat very close to the edge of the grill, maybe even have a little bit hang off. It’s a new cooking trick, they do it in LA. Also, those cushions are pretty and look totally biteable, but the dirt I work hard to accumulate wouldn’t show up like it does against the white. Uh oh, he’s coming, woof.

Can’t wait for autumn to be honest – after a rather lacklustre summer, where we only had a couple of good weeks of warm weather, it’ll be nice to look forward to the season which I rarely have high expectations of. I know there will be chilly days, I know the leaves will fall off the trees, it’s all good in my book!
