Here’s a fun fact… I love the Harry Potter series. There I admitted it (laughs). Every-time a new movie came out, I was front and center, ready to see it (and so was my BFF). One day, during my recent online travels, I was looking for a new cozy, winter drink and suddenly something beautiful happened. I found an actual recipe for.. Butterbeer from Food52. This was the official pub drink that Harry and his friends loved. And I have to say, it looks pretty darn delish! So will you try this? View the ingredient list and click above for the recipe. Happy Friday!

I dunno, Kay. This may be too rich for a muggle like me. I’ll stick with mead, thank you very much.

We love HP over here – my oldest was him for Halloween which was too adorable. I’ve always wondered what Butter Beer would actually be made of!

Don’t tell anyone that I also read all the books before the movie came out, and I too sat front and center to watch the movies.

And here I thought I was the only one lol. I loved the movies, even though I wish the last parts went by the book.

There is a hint of a disciplined approach to calories in this recipe which makes it very tempting, or is it the use of the word “Beer”, or butter, or the cream perhaps. Damn it. I just want some anyway.

LOL.. I knew you were gonna say you were gonna try it anyway I just knew it my friend
. But I also know you’re losing weight

I LOVE Harry Potter! Read all the books, seen all the movies, and now want to desperately drink the butterbeer. Why have I never thought to make it before?! Thanks for the recipe, Kay! This is awesome.
Btw, where were you when I almost had to go to the movies alone?!

I’m with you. I have no idea why I never tried to find this recipe before.. but when I found it you would’ve thought I hit the jackpot lol. I don’t know where was I. But since we in the same city, we need to catch a movie girl. We should not be going alone
. Plus I carry mace just in case crazies come out LMAO
