Privacy.. with glass
Posted by Purely.. Kay in Architecture on May 10, 2012
I’m pretty sure you’re reading this title thinking.. “You can’t have privacy with glass“.. well when you’re dealing with Mexico City-based architects, ARCO Arquitectura Contemporánea, you can. This 7,588 sq ft, two-story home, is stunning! According to the company’s website, the architects made “important changes to give more privacy. Some elements were added to restrict the access inside the premises.” And with the view this home provides, I’d get me a power washer, take care of those windows, and be happy living here (smiles). I love old, grand homes. Whenever I see them, I marvel at there grandeur and wonder if they’ve been restored or not. This beautiful old home, located in San Francisco, California, was built-in 1921 and was designed by architect John Louis Field. This 4,230 sq ft three-story home features five bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a two-story great room. It was put on the market back in September for $4,750 million, and then the listing was removed. But of course, I still had to post this.. it’s just so pretty. Enjoy

If you close your eyes and dream of your fairytale garden.. would do you see? I know when I close my eyes, I see designer Paul Bangay stopping by my home and revamping my yard into the most relaxing place on earth. A well designed back yard can change the way you entertain, and can promote more family time. And when I look through each photo, Paul’s designs seem to enhance the already beautiful structure that exist. There’s something to be said about a yard that compliments the exterior and interior of your home. Click the link above to view more photos. Enjoy
