pastankoOne of the things I love about blogging is that I get to share things that inspire me, in hopes to inspire others. While doing so, I begin to discover things about myself that I didn’t previously know. For instance, I never thought I would love ballet until I posted a project by a photographer with ballet dancers as his subject. From that moment on, ballet became a romantic fantasy I enjoy.

The more I got into it, the more I begin to love photographers that combined the romantic feeling of ballet with the grittiness of the city. And today I have the pleasure of posting the work of Ukrainian Photographer Andrey Stanko. Back in June of 2014, Andrey published these amazing photos of Angelica & Alexander P., dancers of the Odessa National Ballet in Ukraine.

pop1It’s been a while since I’ve posted a mind exercise for you guys (smiles). And today I have the pleasure of featuring the amazing work of Russian based Artist Vadim Stein. So what do you think… is this a Photo or a Painting?

The answer will be revealed at 6PM (Eastern standard time), so THINK FAST and no cheating (yes, I’m full aware you can look up the artist work, but I trust you *wink*). So what will it be.. Photo or Painting?

UPDATE: Well it’s 6pm and I have the answer… It’s a Photo. Thank you to everyone who participated today.. we’ll do this again next month (smiles). Until then…

I’ve said this plenty of times, and I’ll continue to say, the most inexpensive way to update your home is through accessories. Which is probably why I love showcasing art or different accessories on this blog. And today is no different. During one of my online shopping trips (well, I was bored and needed something to do *laughs*), I found a bunch of goodies I couldn’t wait to purchase.
