I absolutely love Easter. I can remember waking up Sunday morning, putting on my beautiful Easter dress, going to church to celebrate the holiday, and then Easter egg hunting afterwards. Well okay, let me just admit that my mother never let me hunt for eggs because she was adamant about me not messing up my dress just to roll around in the dirt for some eggs that she’s made me at home (*laughs* I love that woman). And just like ever year since, my mom and I make Easter eggs for our family in her kitchen. So today I’m sharing my FAVORITE Easter Egg DIY designs. Some are old favorites, some are new favorites, and they’re all easy and so much fun to make.

April is also a time where I can finally slow down and enjoy a new chapter in my life and get back to being me! All work and no play makes me.. not a happy camper! Which is one of the reasons why I love blogging. Its my haven, my place where I can be me, possibly help someone, all while sharing the things that I love.
Over the next few weeks, I’m proud to feature tips and helpful advice (through trial and error) to new bloggers on Thursday, more travels to beautiful locations with stunning architecture, an informative week dedicated to all things wedding (for those of you who’ve emailed me for it), a compelling project by an amazing photographer, and a tribute to the woman who changed my life.
Once again I have to say thank you to all my blog family and to my new visitors. You’ve kept me going with your kind comments and your wonderful emails. Thank you always for your support. I hope you enjoy the month of April here at Pure + Complex.
Chic home decor items don’t always have to be expensive. There are plenty of shops (Target, CB2, IKEA, etc) out there that sell amazing home decor for your budget needs. But I will admit, once I say this amazing Luxe Home Accessory DIY from the amazing website, P.S. I Made This, I knew I had to try my hand at it right away.
