Art / Watercolor Beauty

jdurrantsI LOVED art class in school. Anything to keep me away from math class was a treat. Although I never perfected my drawing hand (hey, I can draw a mean stick figure *laughs*), I always seemed to have an eye for art. And once I adore an artist, I tend to follow their art career as much as I can. Jessica Durrant, from Jessica’s Illustration, is one of those artist. She’s been featured here before and her watercolors seem to get better and better. I love seeing strong women in art. Click on her Etsy Shop link above to see some of her affordable pieces. Happy Tuesday!

Inspire / Visual Messages

bfearnleyInspirational messages, to me, seem to always transcend generations. It doesn’t matter if something profound was said yesterday or 100 years ago, a good message always seems to help keep you focused and inspired. Which is why I LOVE the black and white illustrations from UK-based graphic designer/digital artist Ben Fearnley. He seems to help each inspirational quote come alive and speak to you.. as if that particular message was ONLY meant for you. I love his work. Click the link to view more of his work. Enjoy

Happy V-Day

cmglockhartI’ve always been a bit leary about Valentines Day because I feel everyday should be set aside to share with someone how much you love them. So if you’re tired of all the trumped up candy and adult sized teddy bears that you absolutely have no storage for, then you might consider purchasing an ironic but sarcastic card from Australian artist team Chris Mundy and Greg Lockhart. These card designs are too funny and perfect for the non V-day person. Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow & remember.. love should be shared 365 days of  the year!

Inspiring Art / I Missy You

imyouI am a HUGE illustration fan, as some of you already know, so I couldn’t hold back my excitement when finding these beautiful works of art. Los Angeles Artist Missy McCullough illustrations seem to come alive, almost as if they have a story to tell; and each one more captivating than the next. I think I’m more excited at the fact that I can enjoy one of these amazing pieces on my wall.. for a small fee (like I always say, art doesn’t have to be expensive). Click the link above to head straight to I Missy You Shop. Happy Tuesday (smile).
