I LOVED art class in school. Anything to keep me away from math class was a treat. Although I never perfected my drawing hand (hey, I can draw a mean stick figure *laughs*), I always seemed to have an eye for art. And once I adore an artist, I tend to follow their art career as much as I can. Jessica Durrant, from Jessica’s Illustration, is one of those artist. She’s been featured here before and her watercolors seem to get better and better. I love seeing strong women in art. Click on her Etsy Shop link above to see some of her affordable pieces. Happy Tuesday!
I fancy myself a photographer from time to time, but I don’t believe I could ever become a food photographer. Why? Well let’s be honest, I’d probably sample/eat the food before capturing it (that’s if it’s not prop food *laughs*). Which is why I give food photographers, like Kyle Dreier, so much credit (because I couldn’t do it *laughs*). He created this amazing project entitled Pairings, that is visually wonderful and will be sure to make you hungry while viewing it. Now if only I could get that brownie out of my head.. Enjoy
There’s something stunning about a delicate rose, growing in a modern surrounding. So when I look at these visually stunning black and whites, from Photographer Dane Shitagi’s Ballerina Project, I marvel at the architecture and the beauty of dance. I love these photos so much, that I find myself speechless and unable to look away from this photographers work. Who knew I could become speechless (laughs). So what do you think of this project? Happy Tuesday!
Shhhhh! I have a secret. Do you want to know what it is? I adore Cade Martin’s photography (smiles). You thought it was something juicy didn’t you (laughs). But honestly, to me, Cade Martin’s work is always whimsical, always magical, and always stylish (view my last post about his work). And I couldn’t wait to showcase his latest campaign; Starbucks knew what they were doing when they hired Mr. Martin to display Tazo Tea. He seriously makes me want to pick up a camera and change professions. Simply beautiful. Enjoy
I LOVE the weekend, but Monday’s can be difficult. I mean who wants to go back to work? (not me). But I think I’ve found something to ease your Monday blues. New Zealand-born, Australia-based Photographer Serenah has captured photos of her family of pets; and each photo is more funny and adorable than the next. I’ve only posted one of her amazing photos, but feel free to smile more by clicking on the link above. Remember to smile today!
