Steak w/Arugula, Lemon & Parmesan
Posted by Purely.. Kay in The Kitchen on March 30, 2012
Some people don’t like to eat salad, but I enjoy it immensely. I know I’m eating healthier and it’s a wonderful filling meal. So to continue on with the ‘Salads‘ theme, I came across this Steak with Arugula, Lemon and Parmesan recipe from Food52(I love this site). I’m not sure if people will classify this as a salad, but I do. I love the baby arugula, but I can also see myself eating this with spinach leaves as well. I know I’m not a huge steak fan, but I’d eat this in a heart beat. View the ingredient list below and click the link for the recipe. Happy Friday!

It’s Friday! And it’s time for two more Game Day recipes. Today we’re starting off with a healthy Vietnamese Steak Sandwich recipe from the website Kitchen Daily (yes, I love this website). This delicious looking sandwich comes in at 366 calories per serving and I must admit.. I can’t wait to make this. It’s simple, easy, and budget friendly.. which all of us love. You can also make this sandwich for lunch or for a light dinner. I think this will be one of those sandwiches you can’t stop eating. View the ingredient list below and click above for the recipe. Super Bowl XLV: Buffalo Wings vs. Bacon-burger Bites
Posted by Purely.. Kay in The Kitchen on February 4, 2011
This Sunday the NFL’s (National Food League) two biggest appetizers, in my house, will face off against each other for the award of BEST APPETIZER! Let me stop; don’t you wish that was a real competition though (laughs)? But seriously, on Sunday the Super Bowl is here and I for one LOVE Super Bowl food. The holidays, my birthday, and the Super Bowl always cause me to work out even harder just so that I can enjoy myself. I generally eat healthy, I must admit, but sometimes I just wanna pig out and have fun.
So here are my favorite Super Bowl snacks that are classics to me. I even added in a drink recipe that most people will appreciate (yes, I know I don’t drink but other people do so I’m adding it in). So blog family, what are you favorite Super Bowl, non Super Bowl snacks?
Here’s a bonus recipe for those who want to have more than one drink (beer) at their Super Bowl party. Thanks C for the recipe
