Wedding photos aren’t your same ol’ cookie cutter “Stand right here and pose like this” pictures anymore. Wedding photography can now be spontaneous, colorful, imaginative, high fashion, and simplistic. And New York based photographer Christian Oth’s take on weddings… has taken my breath away. From the black and white feel, the beauty, and the city as a background… who wouldn’t want to look at these photos in your wedding album for years to come. Click the link above to view more. Enjoy

Your Cordially Invited to..

Is your wedding day approaching and you don’t know what to do about your invitations? Well, I think I can help (smiles). The Etsy shop, HeSawSparks (how cool is that name), offers invitations & more.. at a fraction of the cost. Here’s how it works.. you email them the invitation wording you want, they add the text, and email you back PDF files of your invitation. From there, you can print them out yourself on your printer, or at a print shop, and you can use any card stock of your choosing. Think about it.. its like purchasing the generic invitations from Staples or a craft shop, but yours is customized. Gotta love that. Click above for more.. Enjoy

Lately, I’ve been fortunate enough to run into items that remind me of my childhood. From cassette tapes, to seeing a Strawberry Shortcake doll (I haven’t seen that doll in years and yes I had one *laughs*), to now finding a View-Master. Brooklyn, New York-based company, Mélangerie Inc., has created something special for that nostalgic bride.. Wedding Invitation View-Masters. For $3450.00, you will receive 100 of these customized View-Master invitations, along with other goodies. This may be out of most price ranges, but for what you get.. the price isn’t that bad. Click the link above to find out more. Enjoy ![]()

Dare to be Different..

I believe every bride in the world wants her wedding to be slightly different from the rest. One way you can show your creativity and difference is through your wedding photographs. Photographer Simona Smrckova captures the love each couple has for each other (similar to a traditional wedding photograph), but with a different setting. I’m such a traditional person, but I love when a couple allows you a peek into their own creativity.. there’s nothing more beautiful than that. For more creative ideas, view my fav. Edible Favors. I hope I gave you more ideas Belle. Wedding season is over for me, so enjoy these and enjoy your Monday

Wedding favors can get expensive.. so why not make these favors yourself, or choose a budget-friendly favor that is personal, yet beautiful. That’s why I love edible wedding gifts. You know your guest will love them because.. well who would say no to some cookies or chocolate during the festivities. Why am I posting these ideas? Our blog family member Belle, owner of Belle on the Boulevard, is getting married!! So Belle, whether you take these ideas or not, I wish you and your fiance’ all the best
